These forts are rich in history, with stone pathways, ancient bastions, and scenic viewpoints offering breathtaking panoramas of the Sahyadri ranges and surrounding Konkan valleys.

The trek offers multiple route options:

  • Lonavala Route (Beginner-Friendly): A longer but easier trail through lush forests, flowing streams, and green valleys, taking around 4–5 hours to reach the forts.
  • Kondhane Route (Challenging): Steeper and more adventurous, this route takes around 2.5–3 hours and rewards trekkers with thrilling climbs and dramatic viewpoints.

During monsoon (June–September), the entire region transforms into a green paradise, with waterfalls, mist, cloud cover, and cool mountain weather. The winter season offers pleasant trekking conditions and clear panoramic views. Along the trail, trekkers can enjoy streams, rocky paths, jungle trails, and scenic viewpoints, making it a complete Sahyadri adventure.
